This month, our team had the pleasure of visiting Melville Housing Association to deliver one of our regular Continuing Professional Development (CPD) talks. The staff at Melville Housing Association were exceptionally hospitable, creating a welcoming atmosphere for our presentation on Residential and Domestic fire sprinkler systems. Sprinklers are a relatively new addition to Melville’s portfolio, therefore the ultimate goal was to equip them with the basic knowledge that would assist them in answering any questions from their tenants.
Our Commercial Director, Kim Stark, took the lead in delivering an engaging and informative presentation on how our fire sprinkler systems work, and the general “do’s and don’ts” of how to ensure sprinkler systems stay functional. Kim’s expertise and confident delivery style fostered trust in the information provided, which in turn resulted in a high level of engagement in the content.
The presentation was met with great enthusiasm by the attentive staff at Melville Housing Association. Their eagerness to learn and engage with the material was evident in the numerous questions they posed, particularly focusing on tenant-related issues. It was clear that the Melville team were committed to enhancing their knowledge and capabilities to better serve their residents in areas related to fire sprinkler maintenance.
The Q&A session that followed the presentation was particularly dynamic. The Melville staff asked a wide range of insightful questions, demonstrating their dedication to understanding every aspect of tenant relations. Our team were impressed by the Melville staff's proactive approach to learning.
The session not only provided valuable information to the Melville team but also offered our organization insights into the real-world challenges faced by housing associations. This mutual exchange of knowledge and experiences is precisely what makes these CPD talks so valuable for all parties involved.
We left the session feeling confident that the Melville Housing Association is well-prepared to handle a wide array of tenant inquiries and issues related to fire suppression systems. Their enthusiasm and dedication to professional development set a high standard in the housing sector.
We look forward to maintaining this productive relationship with Millar Homes and continuing to support their commitment to excellence in tenant services through future CPD sessions.
