In a significant milestone for Fire Prevention Works, we have completed all but 2 plots and are now in the final phases of the Cala Homes, Jordanhill site.
We have been working in close partnership with renowned developer Cala Homes, and Plumbing and Heating manager, James Frew. Jordanhill park by Cala, which forms a part of a highly sought after development, is a unique development in Glasgow West End, with the iconic Grade B listed David Stow building at the heart of the development.
Our Operations Director, Graeme Bennett, spoke about the project's success: "Our partnership with Cala and James Frew has been instrumental in achieving our high standard of work. By working closely with their team, particularly Tim Killips and Graeme Mudd, we've been able to accurately consider and accommodate their desires for the site design."
The project has not only met contractor specifications but has also adhered strictly to industry standards. "Compliance with BS9251 has been a top priority throughout the development process," Martin Salisbury, our Design Manager, added, referring to the British Standard for sprinkler systems for residential and domestic occupancies.
The project is now in its final stages and the successful handover of the 16/18 plots marks a significant step towards the completion of what is being hailed as a "great site" by industry insiders.
Fire Prevention Works and Cala Homes are already looking to the future, discussions taking place for future jobs. Stay tuned for more updates as this landmark project nears its exciting conclusion.
